From Bill Lange <wlange3@yahoo.com>:
Guys and Gals,
As promised last week, our May Fly-Out will take place on Saturday, May 27, and will be to Hamilton, New York (VGC). Hamilton Municipal is 1136' MSL, oriented 17/35, is 5314' long and paved (So feel free to bring your Lear Jet). CTAF is 123.00. AWOS is 119.425. Some of you may remember the airport as the old "AMA Executive". As usual along routes to the east, the airports and villages are located down in north/south valleys and you won't see them till you are almost there. Hamilton and Colgate University should be easy to spot. The Airport is located just north of town and west of the main highway. We will meet there at 0900 and walk together about 1/4 mile or so in toward town to a great family restaurant called VJ's. It's on the right (west) side of the road about half the way to the Village center. They put on an excellent breakfast and have waitresses who will call you sweetie! Let's hope that many of you can attend and that the weather will be more cooperative than last month. Share a seat if you have one. I'll get the usual reminder email out when the weather situation has firmed up some.
