• All aircraft are rented by the hour "wet", meaning fuel and oil are included. Specific rates are listed in each aircraft's description.
Instruction Rates
  • The base rate for flight and ground instruction is $75/hour, except for instruction with our Chief and Assistant Chief Instructors (David K. and Eric H.), where it is $85/hour.
  • The base rate applies for VFR training in Cessnas and the Citabria, if the instruction is towards a Private Pilot Certificate or towards continued proficiency, i.e., not towards a higher certificate or rating.
  • All other instruction is $85 an hour; this includes instruction towards higher certificates and ratings, instrument instruction, and instruction in the Mooney and Seneca.
  • Special rates apply for proficiency members and ROTC members.

Due to sharply rising fuel prices, an hourly fuel surcharge above these rates will be added to all flights until further notice. The surcharge will vary with the price of each load of fuel we receive.
