Congratulations to Sean Ogden on earning his private pilot certificate. He was very determined and commuted from NYC every weekend to get this done. Also this week  Justin Hjortshoj was signed off to fly complex aircraft. Being president of the club had nothing to do with it...

Mike Sigler has joined the ranks of "conventional gear pilot". It is nice to see our Citabria being enjoyed by more members. Tailwheel flying must be approached with respect, but with proper training and practice it is very rewarding.

Member Lucja Kot gave an interesting and informative talk on her many adventures flying on the west coast and New Zealand. We will try to have more events like this to keep the information and fun going.

Congrats, to Matt Willis on joining the ranks of taildragger nuts.  He found out what his feet are for. No more just "driving" a skyhawk around.

Congratulate Ginny on earning her commercial certificate. She has been flying for many years with some ups and downs, but never lost her love of flying. Now she can be paid for it.

East Hill is known for our well kept equipment. In order to keep our maintenance up to a good standard the board has decided to raise rates on aircraft and instructors $1.00 an hour each. We still strive to keep flying as close to cost as possible, but safety comes first.
