Meeting with Ithaca Tower manager

Dan Painter, the new tower manager will host a meeting, and all local pilots are encouraged to attend. Some possible topics of discussion:

• Connect a face to the voice on both sides.
  
• Demystify things including terminology, procedures and restrictions you operate under.
  
• Strive for standardization. Students here should understand operations well enough that other airports are not of concern and the same for folks from non-towered airports.
  
• Give all of us a venue in which we can discuss odd things that have come up and how they should have been handled and how they can be anticipated or avoided in the future.
  
• Getting everyone on the same page concerning ADS-B now that pilots can have accurate traffic depiction and how this helps/confuses the situation.
