EAA Chapter 811 meeting - Flying with birds

The January Chapter 811 gathering will be Tuesday, January 28th, at the East Hill Flying Club, 62 Brown Road, Ithaca Airport.

As usual, we’ll gather at 6:30 for snacks and hangar talk, and at 7:00 our member Wayne Bezner-Kerr will talk about “Flying with Birds”. For those who weren’t aware, Wayne did the flying in the movie “Fly Away Home”, and in real life he actually did train birds to follow an ultralight to teach them to migrate. It’s a fascinating story.

Also, if you haven’t renewed your EAA Chapter 811 membership for 2020 yet, it’s still just $15 a year. Come to the meeting and give the money to Chapter Treasurer Mark Sanford.
